Hi I’m Alison, “The Chair Chic”
I discovered a passion for upholstery when I bought a vintage chair in need of lots of love. I took myself off to learn traditional upholstery skills to rejuvenate these forgotten pieces....and I was hooked. That was in 2015, and now - ten years on - I’m still transforming old nuggets into new treasures. Each piece of furniture is cherished, using Traditional materials and traditional techniques in keeping with it’s age and history.

Every piece of furniture I have upholstered, from chairs to cushions to a family heirloom that needs refreshing, I provide high quality fabrics and proven techniques make sure it not only looks great, but lasts.
